When I look in the mirror, I sometimes just don’t know the person looking back. In my mind I’m still 18, on the threshold of all things possible.

Now-my kid is 30. WTF? It’s time to regroup, I think. This recession has kicked my ass and I can’t be the only one out there wondering where the time went. (Can I?) I’m sick of looking for a job I will probably hate. I’m going to put my energy in to reaching out to you-people of a certain age who forgot to grow up.

I’d like to handle this differently than my parents did. I don’t want to avoid the inevitable, but I do want a better experience. I’m going to write about things we need to know. Information we can all use. I look forward to your comments and questions. Don’t be shy!
